With back to back meetings and demos, there was barely time to breath at LegalTech 2015. Wortzmans had product demos with numerous vendors of e-discovery and Information Governance tools over our three days at LegalTech.
The bottom line – not much has changed in e-discovery technology since last year’s conference. The market remains competitive. We saw demos for many tools that we have used over the last year, most of which have similar functionalities. New features tend to be more refinement of predictive coding and other Analytics tools, but nothing completely new. Our focus this year will therefore be on pricing and service to ensure our clients are getting the best tools and the best value. On the Information Governance front, the technology has advanced quite a bit since last year. We saw some interesting IG tools that can quickly and efficiently index massive amounts of data so that organizations can either get a one-time snapshot of the information they create, use and store, or organization and manage their information on a go forward basis. Content assessment technology, which provides insight into the data beyond what is found in metadata, has advanced. In addition, many of these tools are fully customizable to suit an organization’s individual needs. We are actively exploring how IG tools will help our client’s to manage their exploding data and protect themselves from a cyber attack. Contact us to discuss more details. Comments are closed.
