Our second full day at LegalTech NYC was jammed with meetings and demos. While dodging snow, rain and sleet, we saw the latest updates to e-Discovery tools, as well as more interesting Information Governance tools.
On the e-Discovery side, Technology Assisted Review tools continue to advance to increase accuracy and reduce review time. Automatic redaction tools are also improving, including the addition of tools to “inverse redact”. That tool will allow us to choose the portions of a record we want to produce and it will automatically redact the rest. We were excited to see that technology is keeping pace with the growth in our client’s needs for redaction.
We also met with some up and coming smaller vendors who are showcasing early case assessment tools at highly competitive pricing. These tools make it much easy for project managers to run analytics, create batches and create reports themselves. This is sure to streamline the process and add efficiencies.
As usual, LegalTech did not fail to disappoint!
