Wortzmans is now MT>3, a division of McCarthy Tétrault
Happy Anniversary! It's just over two years since Wortzmans joined McCarthy Tétrault and we wanted our name to reflect this new and exciting stage in our career: we decided to become MT>3.
Our new name MT>3 represents the foundations of our work: leading edge technology, proprietary processes, and a multi-disciplinary team.
As a division of McCarthy Tétrault, we continue to pride ourselves on offering cost-effective e-discovery and information advice and services.
Duncan Fraser has joined Wortzmans as Vice-President and Senior Legal Counsel. Duncan is one of Canada’s leading e-discovery and information governance lawyers. Duncan will be advising Wortzmans’ clients on all stages of the e-discovery process as well as providing our clients with legal and strategic advice with respect to information governance and privacy law.
Duncan has 19 years of litigation experience, specializing in fraud, aboriginal, environmental and injunctive matters with the Federal Department of Justice. He also created and managed the e-discovery practice for the largest legal department in Canada. As Director and General Counsel, eLitigation and Litigation Support Services, Duncan was responsible for developing and providing comprehensive e-discovery strategy and litigation technology and services to over two thousand Justice lawyers and paralegals.
In addition to his e-discovery expertise, Duncan has a wealth of information management experience. Appointed Director, information@justice, in 2012, his responsibilities included the management of information services, information policy, business intelligence, and the overall strategic direction of the departmental information transformation initiative.
Wortzmans is thrilled to have Duncan join our team.
