On August 21, 2014, Susan Wortzman will co-chair with the Honourable Justice Colin Campbell the Sedona Canada Working Group 7 (“WG7″) Meeting in Toronto. The focus of the meeting is to discuss and finalize updates to the Sedona Canada Principles Addressing Electronic Discovery, which will be released for public comment this Fall.
WG7 will also discuss recent case law and evolving best practices for eDiscovery compliance, including topics such as the application of proportionality to ESI, privacy and data security issues and e-discovery, and TAR. A not to miss event for e-discovery practitioners in Canada.
